Search for books using SWIMS

Search NHS Libraries across the South West. Don't worry about location, we can get books sent to us. Want to request a book? Send us an email and we'll be happy to assist. You can find out more about how to use the catalogue here, or simply ask us if you need any assistance.

UHBW has access to a large catalogue of ebooks, ready for you to pick up and read over the internet. All that's required is an active OpenAthens account.

Ebooks can be accessed by visiting the catalogue, and refining your search to look for only electronic books. You can also find a list of our Kortext e-books here.

Should you wish to request an ebook be purchased for our collection however, please visit the ProQuest Ebook Central website here. Search for the desired book and once found, hit the purple 'Request' button. Our library staff will then assess whether our budget will allow for your request to be added to our collection.
